Life in and Removal from Jumpspace

Other encounters happened. Life existed in the Null. In Jumpspace. That did not compute with Deev’s past knowledge (as little as it was) of that particular space. However, it was true. It was many years he spent drifting within the Null. There was far more lonely drifting than there was facing of dangers, but still, he began to learn the tricks to surviving the strange and wonderful infinity of Jumpspace. And then they came. It was brief. Other than seeing the massive galleon floating gracefully toward him. It appeared both ancient and elegant. A striking yet eerie sight as it glided toward him. The ship's hull was constructed from a combination of obsidian-like dark metal and shimmering, iridescent silver, creating a stark contrast between the two materials. The ship's body was long and sleek, reminiscent of a traditional seafaring galleon, but with elongated, jagged lines that gave it a decidedly otherworldly appearance.

Running along the ship's hull were intricate, silver filigree patterns, etched with arcane symbols and runes. Its enormous, ghostly sails appeared to be woven from the very essence of stars rather than cloth. These ethereal sails were translucent, glowing with an eerie violet hue, and they billowed and rippled as if caught in an unseen wind. Extending from the ship's prow and stern were ghostly tendrils that resembled the flowing manes of spectral horses. Finally, he saw figures peering over the gunwale. One raised a rod and pointed at Es. Darkness once again became his only truth and time no longer passed as his consciousness was also taken.
