Infiltration and Discovery

Despite his fragmented memories, Deev was deployed on his mission to infiltrate the enemy research facility. Armed with advanced items of camouflage magic, he and the team managed to gain access to the facility as maintenance automatons. However, his faulty memory made him unpredictable and susceptible to moments of confusion.

As Deev’s team explored the facility and interacted with the enemy, he began to question his purpose. It was a moment of hesitation that led to his failure to deceive the enemy and his team’s need to escape. Unfortunately, Deev got separated from his teammates but stumbled upon a portal that appeared similar to teleportation rings that were in his database so he made an attempt to escape through what he thought was an advanced teleportation device.

It was not.

It was most assuredly an advanced device for translocation, however, it was built to move things through Jumpspace. In his attempt to escape, Deev activated the device (incorrectly) which sent a surge of arcane energies through him as it transported him to... where?
